An Intro by Sarah of www.rosashoes.com

My wearing of tight skirts is influenced by those women from the
past who, more concerned with the look than ease of movement, were
not afraid to go to the extremes in their dress. In particular those
who wore the ankle-length hobble skirts of the Edwardian age, and
the knee-tight fishtail evening gowns and narrow “pencil-line”
day skirts of the 1950s and 1960s. The way they had to walk in these
clothes was an essential part of the look for those women!
In the wearing of tight skirts, I want to recreate something of the
everyday glamour of the past. I like to complement my outfits with
other glamorous retro items – corsets, faux fur, gloves, vintage
handbags – and to complete the look, I always wear my tightest of
tight skirts with shoes which have the thinnest stiletto heels and
the longest and pointiest toes possible. In fact, last year, I
started my own shoe design company, RoSa
Shoes, in order to satisfy
this obsession!
